Newmar Ventana LE

am looking to buy a 2019 ventana LE....and im told there is no hookup outside for a portable satellite antenna...Any Ventana owners out there that can answer that question??

If it is not on the option list you can always as for it as a special.

I had to special order this along with other audio/video options when I ordered mine.

When my dealer was testing the system, he connected to the cable TV hookup in the electrical bay.

I think a cable connection in the electrical bay is standard. This will not work for satellite.

I repurposed the cable connection to satellite by using an A/B switch. I took the cable feed off the TV antenna booster, that also acts as as a switch between the cable and roof TV antenna, and used a quality A/B switch. One feed went back to the TV Booster for use as cable the other went to the Satellite Receiver.

This is most interesting. We have a 2013 Ventana LE, 3434. It came with a cable AND a satellite jack in the electrical compartment. They must have dropped that feature??

My 2017 4037 has a conduit running from the entertainment center to a sealed port on the roof. You can roof mount your satellite and use the conduit to hook up. I ended up buying a portable satellite and ran a coax from the entertainment center down the windshield pillar and managed to get it to come out in the drivers side front fuse compartment. This makes hooking up the dish pretty simple. Note that for reasons unknown Newmar didn't run satellite cables from the entertainment center to the bedroom TV.
