Rig has been in the barn for the Winter. It started out as a nice day so I just had it backed out to finally take a look myself. A couple of the wires were a little loose, but one of the large red power wires took at least a whole turn before the Torque Wrench clicked at 45 in-lbs. Probably a good thing to check every once in a while (easy enough to do on the BayStar at least).

Many have it on their Spring check list, stranded wires will flatten out over time from screw pressure and vibrations.

While this recall is for vehicles starting in 2016, I found a similar problem in my 2014 Bay Star. It was plugged in beside my house but no power in the Motorhome. A little looking revealed charred wires where they connect to the (factory installed) surge suppressor, right next to the transfer switch. I wound up replacing some wire and the surge suppressor. Searching this site will turn up recommendations to check wire connections periodically, definitely something on my list now!

Xfer Switch

Had my fixed at the dealer. Called and they had me in the next day. took 5 minutes with tech. Would not do it myself even though I can. Want to make sure they are responsible for the fix, and now have a service record of the fix.
Safe travels.....
