NIRVC Consignment Program
We have a 2015 Newmar Ventana (41 feet) and are looking to downsize to a shorter coach (28-32 feet). If we trade our coach in on a new purchase this is a moot question. We may try and sell ourselves using RV Trader and this forum. We also are investigating the NIRV consignment program. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) or pertinent comments on the program We will likely use the Las Vegas location if that matters. As always thanks for your input.

We used Sam Stein at the Atlanta location and it was smooth and easy.
PM me if you want details.

We gave the Dallas location our 2019 DS when we ordered our 2022 LA.
They are upfront with everything and honest. Smooth, stressless and easy!

Call your closest location and talk with them. They charge a commission for selling your coach and handle everything. They will discuss with you the market and pricing, you set the price. They handle washing and cleaning up your coach, advertising and finance. You have they final say on any offer they bring to you and once sold write you a check or apply to a new coach.
Really easy process with no surprise’s!

We bought a 2022 DS 4369 from the Dallas NIVRC. It was on consignment. We were able to negotiate and they took our previous coach in trade. Very pleased with the experience.

Thank you all for your kind comments! Please let me know if there are any questions I can help you with, or I’d be happy to connect you with one of our Consignment Specialists at anyone of our 6 NIRVC locations.

They Clean it
They Stage it
They advertise it
They show it
They keep 7&1/2% of the final sales price.

We just consigned our 2020 Ventana with Marshall Hollingshead at the new NIRVC facility in VA. So far it has been an excellent experience. They detailed it and have already shown it after less than a week. It will be great having an NIRVC so close!

In the boating world, they are called “boat brokers” and almost all sales of used quality boats are done by these brokers. They handle everything from all documentation to survey (inspectors) to paperwork filing. Yes, they get a percentage of the sale but worth every penny of it. I have bought and sold countless boats and all through a broker with no issues at all.

The best advise is to call Angie Morell and talk to her. She can also help you with finding a smaller coach as she will know about RVs that haven't shown up on the website and if you are looking for a new coach she can take care of you to.
I bought a coach from them and it was a great experience.

Thank for the input. We are considering selling our 2019 Ventana 4369. Not sure if consignment or outright offer is best route. Sounds like the consignment option is a positive experience with NIRVC.

Based on the positive feedback we did meet with NIRV in Las Vegas. They were unwilling to accept our coach in the consignment program. They currently have excess inventory (92 coaches on the lot) and will not take a coach for consignment if it has over 65,000 miles. We have 85,000 on a 7 year old diesel pusher. The consignment manager noted at that mileage the coach was just barely broken in as it should go 500,000 miles if properly maintained as our maintenance records supported. He stated that the banks they use to finance coach sales will not make a loan on any coach that has over 65,000 miles, no exceptions...period! Needless to say I was disappointed. I was even more disappointed when he said he would be happy to wholesale the coach out for me at $130,000 yet he said the book value indicated the coach should be listed at $219,000 and sell for around $200,000. I understand the RV market is constantly changing but I was not impressed with the NIRV consignment program based on my experience.
