As I've been preaching the good graces of the site to my new Florida Sea Turtle friends here at my FIRST NKK Chapter Rally, I thought I would compose a topic and share my experiences,as well as offer my sincere thanks for their hospitality.

It is my hope that by starting this topic I might "push" some of you "off the fence" that have given some thought to joining your local regional chapter...

I must admit I had NO idea what to expect and I must also add I was welcomed with welcome arms into the group.

GaryKD had given me a brief idea of what to expect as far as meals and such at the regional level, but I must say as I sit here stuffed to the gills that,if this is a "small" food gathering I'd hate to see the big ones...

There were 13 or so rigs at this monthly rally and I'd imagine that's an average size event for this group.

I'm making plans to attend the NKK National with the Sea Turtle/Manatee contingent in June!!

I'd encourage any of you folks on the fence to check out the Konnections magazine or call the NKK office and find a chapter near you.

THANKS AGAIN SEA TURTLES!!

Interesting, Bob. I'm one also that has never done one either, and was not in my future plans. However your input is giving me thoughts about doing so. Thanks for the post.

Great Paul. I hear from "Lane", John, that you may be down in RB next month. I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Peter, I was discussing this issue on the phone this evening, with a good "non rv'ing" friend of mine and they made mention that it only makes sense to do everything we can do to spend time with those that share the same interests we share...In the case of the NKK chapters my thought would not only be toward the friendship and comraderie aspect, but we've had a few good "circles of knowledge" amongst the group as well concerning our thoughts concerning issues with respect to the coaches we own and the folks that build them...

I HIGHLY recommend the NKK chapter membership.

Bob, the circle of knowledge will probably be a slower start this morning as we had a great pool party yesterday afternoon. We had a live singer, Harley Rose and some great music. Good turn out, hamburgers and BYOB.
