No AC from generator.
I went to the RV storage lot today to charge the batteries and I am getting no AC (that’s AC current, not air conditioning)in the coach when running the generator. (Onan 7500). The Xantrex does not show any charging. The generator starts and runs normally. Everything works fine on Park power. I haven’t found any tripped breakers or fuses.
Any ideas about where to look next?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Depending on what type of inverter you have it could be the fuses on your inverter popped.

When you say you checked the circuit breakers, did you check the breakers on the generator?
Also, you must toggle them off and back on to be sure. They don’t always look tripped.

I bump my generator breaker off all the time checking the oil. Very common for the generator breaker to trip.

My generator, if it has set for a while, will run but will not show power in the coach. I have found that after toggling the generator breakers a few times it works fine.

For clarification AC is electric. A/C is air conditioning. Check the Generator breakers.

Many Onan's won't stay running unless they are producing AC.
With that in mind it likely is somewhere between the output of the genset and the transfer switch. I vote for the transfer switch.

It was the generator circuit breaker. Apparently I bumped it the other day when cleaning it. Thanks to all.

Yep! Did the exact same thing then hit the road for our maiden voyage. Could not figure out why the coach A/C was not working. Figured out after an hour.
