No electrical

Midway here in Branson 2015 Bay Star. Electric shut down. Checked main breaker, then pedestal but no issue. Power from pedestal. Where do I check next. Automatic transfer relay kind of smelled, could that be the issue?

Do you have power from your generator? If you do, could be the transfer switch.

With no power connected or generator running, open the transfer switch. Check for loose or disconnected wires, burnt smell, etc. If all looks physically ok and you have a meter apply power and check for voltages.

Yep it was the transfer switch. We bypassed the generator until I can get another switch. You would think they would last more than 11/2yrs but I don't know.

I lost a transfer switch earlier this year. Burnt connections due to coming loose. Now on my preventive maintenance to-do list is to periodically tighten the connections.

Ordered a new transfer switch and it will be here tomorrow . Killing all power, this shouldn't be a big deal to change out, right?

With all the power off should not be a problem, just remember in older TS the control boards could hold a charge maybe not on your newer coach.
The link to TECH INFO below in my signature has info on TS units as all the links have for your Newmar.
