No Heat

1999 Dutch Star DP 3884
The heater is not heating; we have power, the fan comes on. I can hear the Click click of the starter. I have gas
It looks like I need to pull the heater out of the rv from the out side. Then what do I do?
What is the name of the heater?
Help?

Here is something while you're waiting on more specific info. I know that in my S&B the igniter went out and I was able to light the burner manual and heat up the house in an emergency.

Info , I have says , Suburban model , SF-42.
I'll check for a manual in the files section here in the forums.
There are 2 fuses behind the return air grate under the fridge. The grate is Velcroed to the wall then there is a screw mounted baffle behind to expose the furnace. and it is attached to the floor ducting.
The propane control valve has two solenoids and one of them may have failed, those can be replaced without removing the furnace.

Can't seem to edit my last post, in the " Files " drop box , blue bar below your welcome message, there is a, downloadable file on troubleshooting furnace operation, that should help.

I had this problem at my S&B. Service call found that my cold air intake was clogged partially with a wasp nest. Cleaned it out and burner lit.
My MH has same set-up for both front and rear furnace - intake and exhaust.
Check to see that they are both clear.

We just had someone with same problem take a flashlight and look in the tubes of heater may see blockage from mud dabbers or cobweb's cutting down air flow for sail switch in burner.
When you remove wood grill you can remove wood plywood baffle and gain access to interior of furnace by removing the back plate of furnace.
You will find link for furnace hare amongst other links.
