No Power to antenna

Purchased a 1997 34' Kountry Aire and just tried out the antenna after installing an LED TV. The TV work with VCR and with HDMI connection, but not with over the air antenna. There does not appear to be any on/off switch for the 12V to antenna. Checked to see if there was any power to the antenna box in cupboard, but no 12V power. Does anyone know where a fuse might be located to troubleshoot no power? Chassis power is on and everything else works. No power wall plate or switch anywhere. Thanks for any suggestions.

Welcome to the forum congrats on your Newmar.
Your 12v power switch maybe behind this setup in over head cabinet.

Here is a Brochure and Owners Guide for you coach.
If you have a different cable box then one shown in your owners guide you may have 12v power from button all the way to left of box with red led.
If you find the 12v box and still need fuse you can use this link for reference purposes for 12v wiring and fusing.
All these QT's links can be found below in my signature .

What antenna do you have? Winegard "Batwing" (Sensar)

From the description of "TV Works with ___ and ___ and ___ I assume you have a box of many buttons.. Power button is the one on the left. Clearly marked.. UNLESS someone has modified it as I have mine. In shich case the power button can be anywhere (in my case clearly visible to the right of the cabinet the BOMB is in.

The Antenna is a Winegard batwing. The selection box is very basic with three buttons for tv1, three for tv2 and two for VCR. No on/ off button nor any button or panel in or around the overhead cabinet or any other cabinet. There is a pos and neg wire that comes into the cabinet and hooks up to what looks like a small transformer.

We have a booster button behind passenger seat, the button has to be turned on for antenna to work and for outside cable line to work the booster has to be off.

Forgot to mention the chassis is a Freightliner diesel PULLER. Thanks "007" for the 12V link.

My '97 HR Endeavor doesn't have a wall plate or switch either. It's on full time - or whenever the coach interior has power. The amp has no red LED/light on it either. I found it only be following the antenna lead from the ant./signal source switching box - which was about 2' long. On mine, amp is mounted in the rear of the O/H compartment that contains the switching gear - nearly out of sight.

After reading MYS4US post on a switch behind the passenger seat, I looked and didn't find any. However, I looked in the main coach panel cabinet above the entry door and there was an unlabeled switch which turned out to power the antenna. So the problem has been solved. Got 15 stations 40 miles south of the city with the old Winegard antenna. Thanks for all of your feedback. Tony

Well.. Winegard does have an optional system, Kind of rare but it uses what they call a power inserter, This is a box, about the size if a gneuine ice cube, has 12 volt wire and 2 Coax connectors. If you have that, the switch could be any place.. to find it you would need to disconnect the wire from it, and hook up a wire (Cable) Tracer and ping for it ... Or do a full search for any switch labed "WINEGARD" anywhere in the RV. And be aware even that may not exist, Since the body builder may have used his own switch.

Yup, that would be the system installed on ours. If there's a switch somewhere, it's well hidden!
