No power to basement outlets

I just purchased a 2003 Dutch Star. I was using a steamer plug into a basement outlet and thought I tripped a breaker. The panel is in the bedroom. No breakers tripped. Manual says basement outlet run of bathroom GFI. No power at GFI. Replaced GFI still one power. Cant find any other breakers either. Any thoughts?

Did you check fuses and/or is there another GFI somewhere else?

All other GFI's reset fine. To the best of my knowledge all fuses are for 12v system.

On my 03 DS the outlet in the bay next to the entry door is for a freezer and the breaker is in the bedroom cabinet, first one on the left side. If you were using the outlet in the electric bay, that outlet is for the block heater and has a switch in the cabinet above the front passenger seat.

If you have a inverter, you might have tripped the breaker located on the inverter....

Checked the inverter breaker no luck there. There is a block heater switch but no breaker. The outlets in the storage area with a slide, the one for the outdoor TV and the bathroom GFI are without power. As I said in my original post I replaced the bathroom GFI. According to my manual the basement outlets feed of the bath GFI, I' really stumped.

Hi Flick,
Time to get out the meter and trace the circuit.

GaryKD is right by tracing the circuit. If there is no power before GFI, then you would have a open circuit, as the GFI should be the first plug in the run. Double check that you didn’t flip plug or incorrectly wired the GFI. That could open the circuit after the GFI and stop power to any other plugs. This shouldn’t be hard to find if it was working when you started steaming. We all have thoughts and sometimes one will help. Good Luck

I checked mine out this am. The outlet in the basement for the TV is connected to the bathroom gfi outlet. And, the breaker for that outlet is the one on the right side of the pic. When I tripped that 15amp breaker not only did it remove power from the bathroom, many other outlets in the coach lost power. Power to the front TV went and the sat. box. Hope this help you figure out your problem.

Update: Gave up and called in the electrician (family, just cost beer). I was right it was the bathroom GFI that failed. Problem was I reversed the grounds when I put a new one in, so neither went back to the box. Works fine now. Let that be a lesson to all those who think you are a electrician, (I never did but I'll tackle just about any project). Any rate thanks for all your input.
