No Power to Slide

I have a 1994 Newmar Mountain Aire and have lost power to the slide control. The slide button and voice module is located above the entrance door, but I have not been able to locate the motor control module. I have power from the fuse box for the slide but every thing is dead. On the last trip we had to strait wire the motor to bring the slide in. Please let me know anyone might know where this controller could be located. I have searched all cabinets, storage areas and under the hood.

Welcome kellyrm to the Newmar forum and irv2.
This link will give you an idea what it looks like only a older version. Unit maybe painted black for your year coach.
If you have only the living room slide you could find it under the kitchen cabinets its the black box in picture
or linen closet and maybe in a hutch cabinet near slide.
The fuse would be on your 12v fuse panel along with fridge, water heater, furnace.

Not sure this will help since ours is a 2000 Dutch Star, but I ran across ours on the outside wall under and behind the sink. We actually have a cupboard door behind the recliner that will provide access to that area behind and under the sink. If I had not stuck my head way back in there, I probably would not have know it was there and probably would have never found it when I needed to.

Of course if I knew that 007 knew, and had the internet handy, and had a light in the cabinet like 007, I would be in good shape... but who has all that when we're fighting problems in the motorhome.

No power to slide

Thanks for the help. Looked all under the sink cabinet, nothing but plumbing and water filter. Followed the wiring down thru the wall to under storage it then turns and goes to wiring harness under chasis. I have searched all coloset and storage compartments for this slide controller. I figured it has to be in a dry area somewhere. The silde operated geat on the last trip but when we got ready to leave it had no power. We had to strait wire the motor to bring it back in. I figured it would probaly be a bad connection when I find it, the power from the fuse box is sending power to it. If you have any more suggestions, all is appreciated. Thanks again for the help.

My 06 Ventana has relays in the outside TV bay. When talking to Newmar they seemed a bit surprised that I had relays. But switched 1 around and everything works.
