No power to tvs and to one recept

I am new to this forum and also a 1st time rv owner (2005 dutchstar dp 40 ft). My wife was using a vacuum (draws 12 amp) the recept is dead now along with the two tvs. I checked gfi in bath and kit, both ok, I also the checked the breakers located in bath room , all ok. Any help on what to check next would be appreciated. I do have a inverter and currently on 50 amp shore pwr. Thanks in advance

Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join the gang!

Sorry I can't help with your problem. It sounds like a breaker thrown but I don't have a clue where it would be on that unit.

Maybe one of the Moderators will move your post over to another area. Hope you find your answer!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

More than likely the circuit breaker on your inverter popped. Has happened to me before.

Hi Rog1965char,
Welcome to iRV2 and the Newmar Owners Forum. The post by bonzocfi is most likely the problem. Your coach may have an inverter in the 400 to 600 WATT range. This inverter can not handle any large loads. Find the inverter (it could be anywhere) and check for a button breaker. It may be on the back or some place on the inverter that is difficult to get to. Press the button in and turn the inverter off, wait, wait, wait a minute and turn the inverter back on. You should be good to go.

What I did was determine all the outlets that are controlled by the inverter. I put a small "I" over each outlet. Everyone now knows no high draw appliances on outlets marked with an "I".

Welcome to the forum & irv2 Rog.
You should have found the small inverter by now so I will only suggest to go to the links in my signature and learn allot more about your coach, they will cover many items you may need answers to.
Enjoy the forums and safe travels.

No power to tvs

Your right, the problem was the inverter kicking out, I reset and all is well. I will mark all the receipts on this circuit and use only for low amp draw items. Thanks to all responding to this issue
