Helping Buddy de-winterize 2024 Ventana. Cannot get water to come out of the Whirlpool Fridge water dispenser, have install new Everydrop Filter. Thoughts?

Is this a residential fridge with water in the door and an ice maker? If so does the ice maker have water flow? If neither have water flow there is likely a shut off valve that is closed. If one does & not the other i would suspect the actual water valve onboard the fridge.

In one of your Bays on the Street side??? There is a shut off valve for the Refer. The person who "winterized it" might have shut the valve.
Two problems with the water, if the inside water filter is not installed exactly right, it won't work. I don't use the filter any more as it bypasses if no filter is used.
Another time the fridge was set too cold and frozen the line. Thawed the fridge and then it worked.
