Norcold door pocket shelves fall out

I have a 2007 Kountry Star with the four door Norcold refrigerator.

Most of those adjustable door shelf pockets are loose enough that they tend to pull out when I remove water bottles or other items that put any upward pressure on them.

I called Norcold to ask about this problem and if I had to order new ones. They acted as if I was the first person to have this problem.

I bought some plastic epoxy and plan to permanently attach them, but I am still mystified why something that is never moved would become loose.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Norcold door pocket shelves fall out

Mine aren't quite that loose. Before I resorted to gluing them in place I would try adding some felt pads or some type of pad/spacer and place on the shelves where the friction fit exists. Maybe that would stiffen them up enough. You might try using the fuzzy side of some adhesive type Velcro but that may be too thick. If nothing else you might be able to wedge some cardboard pieces into place between the bins and the door.

I don't believe you are pushing them down completely. Mine are not easy to remove when cleaning. I have removed them many times over the years.

Norcold door bins

Same problem. I used museum putty to hold them in. Works for awhile but needs to be refreshed quarterly

The previous owner of our coach used small stainless steel screws on some of them to hold them in place. I have taken them off to clean and put them back using the screws over and over again. It works well.

Wow, I move the shelves on mine up and down to accommodate whatever I am putting in them at the timr. Never had a problem with them coming out and I would never permanently fasten them because of the way I use them .
