Nose is coming apart
Tonight I noticed that the noise of the rv had separated from the side in one spot. Consider the attached pictures. It has a bit of bow to it.
How does one fix this?
It feels like they used some kind of silicone adhesive to bond the pieces together.
What do you recommend? Epoxy?

I say a 16 should be under warranty for that, I would call Newmar before attempting to fix it

We had something similar occur on our 2014 Ventana LE and Newmar covered it under its 5-year sidewall separation warranty. They sent us to a Newmar dealer in Oregon and they repaired it. It was done so well, it was impossible to tell that anything had ever happened.
I would contact Newmar before trying to fix it yourself. Be prepared to e-mail your photos to them on request.
Good luck.

Ah well, never a dull moment. There is definitely a Newmar Five Year limited Structural Warranty. It only applies to the original owner and is non-transferable, darn it. Since I am not the original owner, it does not apply to me.
I have been through the factory tour and have looked inside the gap. It appears they apply some sort of adhesive, like a silicone adhesive, and then press the edges of the nose and sidewall together. That is what has un-bonded.
I did contact Newmar - they said they could schedule me for a repair in late January.
I was poking around Newmars tech site looking for guidance on how to rebond it. No joy. Anyone have any advice? I'm tempted to epoxy it, but thought I'd toss out the question here first.
Thanks everyone!

I was the second owner of the 2014 Ventana LE that they fixed under warranty. When I called about the problem, I was told "that shouldn't happen, we'll fix it." I reminded him that I was not the original owner and he repeated his prior statement.
I would contact Newmar again and pursue the matter. Ask for a supervisor if you don't get satisfaction. A 2016 coach should not be experiencing sidewall separation.
If you try to fix it yourself...and, the "fix" fails...it will be a much more difficult "fix" going forward. In our case, the body shop at Guarantee RV in Junction City, Oregon, used screws as well as adhesive to make the repair. That also necessitated repainting a small section.

Brrrr! But I will say that the only way to get it done right is to take it there. I can't imagine the outcome of my windshield support structure rebuilt by someone that didn't know that the dash has a certain way it comes apart and that you had to disassemble 2 layers of it plus what the plywood schedule was to support the edge.....
Take her home to the mothership - I drove 1250 miles to get it done at the factory - so glad I did.

Our 2014 rear cap came loose at the right rear corner. Contacted our local Newmar dealer (3 1/2 hour drive away). Coachlight RV in Carthage, Mo. Then contacted Newmar. Talked to Mike at Newmar. Sent him pictures of the problem. They reviewed it and agreed to take care of the repair. I had a response from them in less than 24 hours. Coachlight did a great job on the repair. Can't tell there was ever a problem. Our coach was out of the 5 year warranty and we are the 3rd owner. Newmar stepped up and took care of the problem with no hassle. Proud to own a Newmar.

I would try Newmar for repair also. I’ve never heard of transfer papers causing a delamination, so I wonder about the 2nd owner exclusion.
