Oasis hot water for a minute and then cold?
I have a 2023 London Aire on its second trip. First trip was 3 months ago and Oasis worked fine. This trip it’s not.
Burner fires up and runs fine. Panel upstairs shows zones ok, electric elements turn on fine too. No red lights on the panels downstairs, everything appears fine.
The issue is that I get hot/warm water for maybe a minute and then it goes lukewarm or cold. I even tried it today while driving and again, I get a minute of hot water and it goes lukewarm again?
I also tried turning the heaters on like other posts have mentioned and they too only blow lukewarm air, not heat and still no hot water?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. It’s a holiday weekend and I can’t get anyone from support until Tuesday.

I can't believe that a 2023 would already have a summer loop pump failure, but you can test for it. Open the bay door to the Oasis and to either the right or left of the unit should be a silver-colored box about the size of a 1" tall cigar box. It has a rocker switch on top. This turns on all the pumps (technician test switch) and if you get hot water, it means your summer loop pump is bad. Once you're done each day with showering (if that works) turn the switch back the other way until you can get it repaired.

Had a similar issue with my 22 DutchStar. In my case it turned out to be a couple of wires on the connector that plugs into the silver control box that were not fully seated in the connector body.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I’ve tried the summer loop bypass switch and I am still having the same issue so I believe that’s been ruled out now. I’ll check the wires today and see if maybe there’s an issue there.

Is the water not hot at all faucets or just the shower. Could be a bad mixing valve at the shower. There is a controller in a bag in the bay by the oasis. There is a node board to the right of the unit on the wall. You can connect that to the plugs from the node board and bypass the Silverleaf and just control the oasis. Have you called your newmar rep? Reach out to your selling dealer or any NIRVC service department for further assistance with this issue.

I have had this issue 8 times re hot water since getting our London Aire in Sept 2022. Power off the coach with that button by the passenger's seat. Wait about 10 seconds then power it back on. Check that Silverleaf shows Elec 1 and/or 2 are on. Wait 10 minutes and you will have hot water.
Do not run the diesel burner because it will generate so much heat in the Oasis's fluid that you will get hot water all day and not be able to tell if my approach fixed the issue with the electric elements.
Re furnace, change heat source from Oasis Only to Heat Pump. Allow heat pump to run for a few minutes then got back to Oasis Only. I have had this happen 5 times.
See my attached notes.
The issue appears to be a communications issue within Silverleaf.
Hope this works for you. It does for me every time.

I’m having the same issue in my 21 Essex. Had hot water for a month long trip to Yuma, then after a month we headed to TX and had intermittent hot water. This was at all the faucets and the shower. I checked the elements and burner, and all working well.
After talking to Newmar and Oasis they had me check for the summer loop pump in the basement to see if it was running. It was, then it wasn’t. Intermittent. Problem solved right?
I took it to the dealer in CO for other items upon our return from TX, and when they checked the hot water it ran at 118F for 20 minutes no problem! Arrrrg, this always happens - never repeats at the dealer even though for 10 days in TX it was doing it every day.
Reading the above now I’m wondering if a system reset happened and ‘fixed’ the problem. After dropping off at the dealer they always shut off the coach power with the disconnect. Maybe when they turned it back on the Silverleaf rebooted and resolved the issue.
Still going to buy a summerloop pump to have on hand for field repairs as I still have heard these pumps fail often.
Glad I read this thread! Crossing fingers I have hot water now.

Well everyone, after hours of calls and troubleshooting with ITR and Newmar it was the summer pump that failed. I’m having one overnighted to me tomorrow at the Rv park. Appreciate everyone’s help, thinking I’m going to have a backup on board now just in case.

Agreed!
You don’t by chance have a link or part number for that pump you found? Newmar just charged me $649 but they’re reimbursing it via a warranty paper check for that little thing. $81 seems like a cheap insurance policy.
