Oasis Hot Water not functioning

Good morning! First time posting to irv2. This site has been so helpful to our learning about our new coach so thought would pose the question here. Picked up our 2019 Newmar 4037 Ventana on August 24th.

First camping trip out and we cannot get the Oasis Hydronics to produce hot water. Turned on the burner, ran for a few minutes then burner turned off. Io hot water. Hit the reset button and waited overnight. Turned burner on and it did the same thing as last night. No hot water.

We did test the hot water at our home prior to going out and it worked then.

Any thoughts if there is a setting we are missing or ideas on what to try?

Thank you!

Have you tried to use electric only?

Hi - A few questions. Do you have no hot water or no flow from the hot water taps? If you run the heat does that result in your getting hot water? (To exclude a summer pump issue). Do you get heat from the heat exchangers in the coach when you trigger for it? (To make sure that there isn't a controller issue).

This should help to limit the possible causes.

Thanks. Turned the heat exchangers on, did get heat. Then turned on the AC element and the light came on for about 5 minutes. As we were waiting to see if this heats up the water, the light just went off. We do get water just not hot.

burner nor AC1 will turn on now. Trying to turn furnace back on now to see if we can start AC1 back up. Not sure why this went off after a few minutes.

Hi - With the heat exchangers running do you get domestic hot water?

If you get hot water when you are getting heat from the heat exchangers then then problem is probably a bad summer loop pump. As a temporary help you can turn on the bypass switch located on top of the oasis control box. (the silver box with several LED's) I would suggest only turn on bypass when you need hot water and not leaving it on. If you leave it on the heat exchanger pumps will run continuously.

Worked

Someday,

Thanks. I have the HE going and go hot water. Will try the bypass suggestion next to see if we still get hot water. Really appreciate the advice.

Green light on AC1/AC2 will go out once the temp reaches temp, so that is normal. There may also be a red light on the control panel (silver box by burner unit). If so you can change fuse but will probably will trip again. Sure sound like summer loop pump issue which will be verified with hot water in bypass mode.
