Oasis running for no apparent reason

Yesterday shortly after plugging the RV in to 50 amp in garage the Oasis unit started humming loudly for no apparent reason. Status of the systems were:

Thermostat heat and A/C off
AC 1 - AC 2 - and Burner were all off
Water pump off

On the Oasis unit the following lights were on:

Power
AC Heat
Summer Loop

On a previous thread I posted about an issue with the Summer Loop and it was suggested to purge the system, I have not been able to do that yet.

The buzzing sound continued for 20 minutes, then I hit the house battery disconnect and it stooped, but started again an hour later as soon as I engaged the house batteries. I shut off the house batteries (again via the disconnect switch) and this morning when I turned the house batteries back on the buzzing was gone.

Has anyone experienced this issue who can recommend troubleshooting?

When we got our coach we couldn’t get the AC immersion heat to work at all. When the tech looked at it, whoever had put it together wired it improperly. Almost sounds like yours has been wired improperly on the AC side in that the immersion heat is wired hot all the time...or you have a bad switch at the control panel. Does the light at the control panel come on when this happens? My guess w=oils be that the wiring is the issue.

Wander, when you have time go into QT's # 3 and down into the second section to DS Don and PDR Jphn's MOD SECTIONS they have detailed information on the Oasis System and Don has a thread for newbee's plus others related to Oasis.

mine was doing something similar...i called ITR, they walked me through what i did before that point, and told me it was normal......

mine did shut off....

call them....explain it.....they can help....

for me, it had something to do with the unit having to cool down.....

did it run at all on the burner prior to this ?

Neither the burner nor the electric units had been used for days.

I will call ITR.
