Oasis Summer Pump problems

It appears that our Oasis summer pump is defective and needs replacement. Everything works properly when the bypass switch is on.

I am one month out of Newmar's one-year warranty.

Questions:

1. Will International Research Products cover this under their warranty?

2. What is the best source for a replacement summer pump?

Thanks,

Rex

My summer pump went out after the one year was up and I called International Research Products and was told they would send a new one but wanted me to check the wiring first. It turned out to be one of the connectors to the pump. I fixed that with pliers and has been fine since then.

Being only 1-month out, I'd think its likely Newmar will still warranty the repair if you call and ask them.

BTW, we had 2-Summer Cooling Pumps go bad within a 3-month period this year. Both were warrantied. The 2nd (which replaced the original) lasted less than 90-days. I'm told that little devil cost $485.

ITR is the only source for that pump, and it will cost you around $270.

BTW. I also had a problem with the connector when I replaced the pump.

'16 Ventana here. Our Oasis summer pump conked out. Newmar covered it. I saw the pump invoice and the pump cost $136 from Oasis.

Mine went out after 16 months, but a tech told me to remove the cover (in basement) and tap on the check valve just above the summer pump. The summer pump is the one on the left. This fixed the problem and no recurrences.

Seems like the check valves are notorious for sticking.

I had the summer pump on my 2016 Dutch Star go out about 3 months after my Newmar warranty expired. I called International Thermal Research and talked to the great techs there. I explained the situation and they sent me a pump to install. You can probably get a deal on the pump or maybe even get it for free if you explain the limited age. These tiny pumps seem to be a common problem.
