Thanks, Roger! I've been waiting for them to update their website w/the 2015's. Newmar is on my short list when we upgrade to DP. Love the roll-in shower in the 4311 Ventana. That would be a nice option for other, non-wheelchair, floorplans.

Most of the Highline coach's are using the Televator rise behind couch, so the couch has no use for TV watching and the angles for some of the seats seem at a sharp angle for viewing.
I liked the LCD on center wall in most coach's that previously had them where most seating had a good view for most everyone.
Of course if its the two of us we would only have to figure who would get the better seat with Televator setup. She would probably win out.

I' m no techno geek but I think their site is well done. We are anxious and looking forward to looking at Newmar in Hershey.

Compared to past years your statement is correct must be new blood of younger generation.
The whole Newmar operation has changed with more interaction with their customer wish's in upgrades and custom builds and employees are more open to new owners, their building for.

Hmmmm, who'd have thought listening to customers would be the way to go? That's what'll keep Newmar innovative. I wish more mfr's would listen.

I am by no means well versed in handicap accessibility issues but it appears that Newmar has done a pretty decent job in creating an environment that is MUCHO more friendly. At least that is for a person that is also accompanied by someone that can reach the high places. The fact that Newmar is doing this opens up more possibilities and a place to start making even more improvements in this area.

Does anyone know of any other manufacturer that has gone this far yet to serve the needs of an older clientele? If not, this will be a benchmark for others to reach.

Makes me even more proud of Newmar!

AFAIK, no other coach mfr has wheelchair accessible floorplans in their std line up. It's a very small niche, but for us aging baby boomers, having such a floorplan - in not just diesel but gas too - will allow us to enjoy RV-ing much, much longer.

I'm also pleased to see more floorplans with the dinette on the curb side. Way more pleasant to look out over one's own patio than the neighbor's.

They have offered in gas version for a few years CANYON STAR gas.

Now they have the VENTANA DP and the Dutch Star DP versions.

In 2014, they introduced a second floorplan (3921) for the Canyon Star toy hauler, with a full wall slide that made the bedroom much larger. When they first came out with the 2015s, the floorplan wasn't in the brochure, but it looks like it is now on the web site. Perhaps they were going to drop it, but changed their mind?
