One ceiling light no power, all others work

Newbie RV owner (04 MADP 4017). I am converting 18 “ tube ceiling lights to LED. The forward most light has no power, light wasn’t working, assumed it was bad ballast but not the case. I can get light to work using jumper wire from the light next to it. Could this forward light be on a different switch? Still getting acquainted with this rig. All help/suggestions appreciated!

Yes, it is possible that a separate switch may be involved. If not, you should be able to feed a line through the ceiling. Best of luck.

On my coach, the forwardmost light is on a separate switch, located by the entry steps and labeled "entry." I had the same issue as you--no power to that fixture--until I discovered the switch, low by the floor but at eye level when outside looking into the stair well.

Hi speedway,
Ljwt330 has the answer. Check the passenger right hand console of switches. It will be one of these switches. Also make sure the switch at the fixture is turned on.

Yes. One switch for the front fixture and another switch for the 2 fixtures in the kitchen/dinette area.
