One more thing about that plastic handle on the fresh/city water valve

Have had no luck finding a replacement for that cracked plastic handle on our 2014 BS 3308 fresh/city water valve, so I am going to have our exceptionally versatile and talented local machine shop fabricate a metal one for me. Will be talking to them tomorrow, so if anyone might also be interested in one, please PM me. Cost might be less if they make more than one. Note I will not be selling them as in to make a profit, just offering to have them made--sort of a group buy.

I bought a 1/4" ball valve at the hardware store, took the handle off it and put on the city fill valve.

Mine came from the factory with a metal handle and as John says it looks just like a standard ball valve handle. I am sure the factory could get you one if necessary.

Go to a plumbing supply store with your old mechanism. They will have what you need. Should be under $40.00.

My plastic handle on the fresh water tank dump valve broke too! I went thru a few handles and found one that works fine, cost; almost nothing. not sure why plastic was used but my city water fill valve has the same handle and works ok for now 2013 BS . Good luck, Daryl

Went there first. Said they couldn't help at all. Went to the RV supply place. They couldn't help. Went to the hardware store that carries everything odd and not so odd. Couldn't help. Tried all the usual places people have mentioned and then some. Then it occurred to me we have a local machine shop that can make things. When I texted him about what I needed, he said he could do it. So they are next on my list to visit (didn't make it yesterday as planned, the day got away from me).

I got a valve at Home depot--- took off the metal handle and put it on the coach city fill valve also. I think the cost was $4, more or less.

This is the one I took off a Home Depot ball valve and put on the city fill valve.

Be interesting to see what that costs!
