Opening passenger window.

Does anybody know if there is an option for an opening passenger window on 2020 4369 Dutch Star.

Thanks Tom

I know that’s not on the options list. You might check with Newmar CS to see if they would entertain it as a Special.

My 08 Monaco had a passenger window that opened. My 17 DS did not. I would guess that if Newmar does not stock such s window for other coaches, the answer is going to be no.

When we ordered our new Dutch Star my wife pushed to get a window that opened.
Newmar denied it.

Is that a Newmar install or a dealer aftermarket install?

The dealer Ordered the window thru Newmar and the dealer will install it. 4 to 6 weeks to get.

pass window slide

Ordered one from dealer for my 2016 DS. Dealer confused because the window only came in a frame type but I said I didn't care. Kind of stupid to put a stationary window next to the passenger seat. Window and install under $400 at Holland RV Palm Desert, CA

Will the window powered or will it open manually?

Last year I had my passenger window in my 2011 MADP replaced because of fogging. Replaced it with a manual framed window that opens. All windows on coach are frameless except in cockpit ! The installation was done at the factory.

I understand why Newmar denies these kinda things. 1 Modifications like this would slow down the whole assembly line process. 2. Design changes require engineering, cost of change, and testing. For a single unit it's inefficient. 3 There is warranty concerns about the "ripple effect" it may have on other components. When a dealership does modifications they assume the liability.
