Exactly.

70 degrees in NW Arkansas today though. Should be happy for awhile. [emoji3]

Candy Girl, we did factory pickup as well. The entire process is so exciting. Congratulations on your order. Only a few months and you can post up some pics when you take delivery. Check out my post in quick tips if you need any info on the process including registration etc.

Again, congrats

Its a long wait but that day will come! Until them enjoy the forum and I encourage you to take unwred up on his offer to talk with you about the coach. He is a great guy and very knowledgeable.

Did they tell you why it will take so long? We ordered a Ventana 3709 15 Feb and our dealer told us it would be about 14-16 weeks.

We should have ordered another Newmar rather than buying the Country Coach. Not that the Magna isn't a fantastic rig, just that it's cost us far more in repairs than we ever figured on spending. In fact we've spent far more in one year on it than we did in the previous 15 years with our two Dutch Stars.

Congratulations to the OP and others that stayed with Newmar!!

Sometimes the dealer has a unit already on order and they can run a new order into it's production slot.

Here was the timeline for our Ventana:

Placed order with dealer: 01/24/15
Order sent to shop: 04/28/15
Commence production: 05/27/15
1st available day for CPU: 07/13/15
1st actual day for CPU: 08/10/15

Our dealer offered to swap our order with one that he already had in the pipeline. We elected to let nature take its course. We requested that the factory store the coach until we could arrive in Nappanee on 08/10/15. That request was approved.

Keep in mind that we placed the order right after two huge selling events at Newmar: Hershey and Tampa. There backlog bulged beyond expectations. Therefore our wait was much longer than is normal. Also keep in mind that Newmar has increased their throughput. Thus even shorter order to delivery times. All of that said, for you ... time will pass agonizingly slow. At the end of the day...it will truly be worth the wait.

Congratulations!

We delivered our trade to the dealer today. Spoke with our salesman and he thinks it will be less than the 20-22 weeks originally thought. It may be 12-14. So, May could be the time. Sure hope so!!!
