Ordering ceiling lights
Even tho Newmar replaced all the ceiling lights on my 2015 DS in 2016 (or claimed they did) 3 of mine are now blinking on/off. Pretty sorry for LEDs that are suppose to run 100,000 hrs. Where do I order new ones and about what do they cost each?

I ordered these on Amazon for our 2016 DSDP 4018. When the light is off, the glass cover is slightly darker than the originals, when turned on you can't see any difference.
So, what I've been doing is swap the original under cabinet lights for as ceiling lights and use the Amazon fixtures for the under cabinet lights. nobody will ever notice the difference-)

After 3 1/2 years we have one light that is starting to act up and one light that burned up when DW tried to dim it using aluminum foil.
I'll be ordering a couple of these. I like the idea of the springs compared to the Newmar light.

Too bad Newmar didn't install built in plug ends so these could just be pulled down and a new one plugged in. That way you could have some new ones prepped with ends and ready to go. Luckily, I've only had about four go bad, two during the walk thru and two since (knock on wood). I carry four spares, but it's a pain to do wiring work over my head as I get older.

Wagonmaster, they're sorry indeed. I need 12 for my 2017 New Aire. They're dim, blinking, and a couple completely out. I heard they had a bad batch and they will all eventually go out. I thought they were only $6.00-10.00 each and all you replaced was the led bulb, not the whole fixture. My New Aire has the rope type LED's in the cabinets so I can't switch them out. They already replaced 4-6 under warranty (wasn't that nice since they knew they would all shortly go bad on my nickel). I'm not a happy camper and I'm being nice. May not do any good to rattle some cages but this is just not right.

We got the same ligths and are very happy so far. Newmar replaced all of our lights about a year ago. Four of those have since failed. We planned on having Newmar replace those but we couldn't make it work so I ordered the Facon lights. So far so good.
But I replaced one light with an old one given to me by one of the service centers that replaced a few lights way back when. I figured I'd used that one, just to get rid of it. Well, I'll be getting rid of it alright. It started failing within days.
Hopefully, the rest of our lights are good to go. It's been a year and only those four went bad. If not, I'll just replace them as needed.
BTW, we got the pack of six lights. Looks like that option isn't available now but they were cheaper, less than $9 per light. I'm sure the six pack will be back in stock at some point.

I've replaced all mine over the years and now just ordered/received from Newmar two replacements at a cost of $10.26 EACH (free shipping). They now are PLASTIC and are a tad less in diameter. I plan to swap out a couple of the under cabinet fixtures, so likely the difference won't show that much. Not a "happy camper" with either the PLASTIC or COST.

Wonder how many thousand lights were in that "bad batch"? Good excuse for sorry cheap product. I was first told that in 2015 and they would replace the 6-8 that went out in 3 months of ownership, but had 4 more out within a month after returning home. Next trip they replaced all 52 of them, or so I was told.
I like Don's idea of having quick snap connections but that probably cost a couple dollars per coach to do it.
$4-$600,000 machines and they can't ever install decent ceiling lights.

been having the same issue on our '15 DSDP 4369. I have really bad light sensitivity do to a form of migraine. My dealer told me when they begin to flicker to unscrew the lens and flick the bad LED with your finger nail to pop it out. This will kill 3 or so of the LEds but can't really tell the change in intensity......until it happens again. They changed 5-6 when we were in Nappanee on Aug. '16 and now have about 6-8 that are running at 3/4 "throttle". BAD BATCH AYE! Same then they told me about my LEDs around my headlights and on the rear reflectors. How big IS this bad batch??Poor components on such a pricey coach.
