Ordering DS .. question on flooring.
We are placing our order for a 2018 DS 4326. One option we are going with is to upgrade the floor to the King Aire wood floor. The color that goes best with the interior is the one that is light ... almost white.
My question ... does the light floor show scuff marks, heal marks, etc? We are going with the DS cobblestone interior and exterior ...
Any thoughts or feedback on the King Aire floor would be greatly appreciated.
Phil

I have a off white tile floor in my Magna. It has a non slip texture to it and it does show dirt and shoe prints.

the lighter grey wood plank tile for the king aire is coded KG18-120....i have chosen that for my order as well......
it is a matte finish floor, vs. the gloss finish wood plank found in the essex....my experience with matte finish flooring is that it hides the dirt and marks quite well, and has a very nice, and noticeable texture to it.....feels good barefoot, and also is not as slippery as the gloss finish when wet or in socks......
i have gloss tile in my tiffin, and it shows foot prints and dirty spots. it can also be slippery. i look forward to having a matte finish floor in my 4326. one thing to also take into account is the size of the tile. it is a plank style, so longer and narrower pieces. more grout lines, but the surface is more broken up, so that should also hide dirt and footprints better....my tiffin floor is larger pieces, so more polished surface that is unbroken by grout lines will show more dirt and spots....
i have only seen the KG18-100 tile in a coach. it is the lighter brown version. is it gorgeous, but too brown for us.....but the texture and pattern is the same.....the sample of the KG18-120 i saw with michelle howard was how i ordered it, plus finding some pics of coaches with it online.....

Our current order is also the KG18-120 but it looks almost white rather than light gray ... we've only been able to see it in the 2018 sample kit our dealer has. We have not seen it in a coach so are guessing in how it will look.

We upgraded to the King Zaire floor as well. We love it and it shows nothing. My wife loves it.

it is pretty light, but it's a patterned tile. so there are areas that are darker as well. when all laid up together, it looks darker...and pictures really do it no justice....
here is a coach with the KG18-120 tile:
https://www.rvtrader.com/dealers/Tra...4553-118150554
it's laid up on a diagonal, which to my eye, is not as nice....but YMMV....
that is also the KG18-120 countertop (which i also chose).....note the picture near the entryway, where you can see how much lighter the corian is, vs. the tile....

Thanks. That helps us get a feel for the look. Especially since we are going with DS cobblestone which is the dark gray/black ..

Anyone have a photo of the darker wood flooring? I was wondering how it looks with the dark leather and lighter color cabinets

you made a good selection on the flooring. We have it in the KA and it stays clean and adds a lot of light to the coach.

good to know dusty56.....thanks for posting....would love to see a picture of your coach, if you're willing....something to ease the waiting time !
we chose it for that reason, with the light countertops, and the wicker glazed maple gloss cabinets as well....DW wants a very light interior, vs our tiffin now, which overall, is pretty dark, save the flooring and seating.....
