Outdoor Shower to Hose Bib Conversion - Easiest Mod Ever

I have been planning to convert the outside shower faucet to a hose connection setup for some time now.
Today was the day and the best surprise was how easy it was to complete.
It took $15 and about 20 minutes to complete.
I am attaching a few photos to show the project.

I just bought an adapter that screwed into the place where the shower hose went, I think I spent $4.

It's the same plastic cover with the faucet unit removed from it. Already had the holes in it in perfect position for the new hose bibs..

Very clean mod Norm. Do you get a better flow rate through the new valves?

I capped off the hot water line and purchased a brass hose bib.

Works great. The bib and shark-bite cap totaled about 17.00

I never used hot water at the wet bay site anyway.

Don't know yet but I hope so. ZAlaska and others have changed theirs out and now wash the coach from that outlet.

On a quick test it appears way stronger than the water flow was from the shower wand. I'll give it a good test in the next few days.

Here are my wet bay mods

Here are the mods that I made to my wet bay (2007 Dutch Star), including the shower conversion:
1. Install Sanicon
2. Move deck plate to allow easier pass-thru for sanicon head
3. Install horizontal hose reel
4. Install adjustable in-line water pressure regulator
5. Install winterizing bypass system for filter
a. Of course, after that, I installed a water filter with built-in bypass
6. Install utility faucet (with hose threading) to replace shower.
a. Can connect hose for black tank wash down
b. Can connect hose for warm-water dog washing
7. Install paper towel dispenser (w/ fly-away preventer)
8. Install holder for nitrile glove box
9. Install in-bay tank monitoring and pump switch
10. Use remote temperature sensor for in-cabin weather station to monitor bay temp in cold weather
11. Since this photo:
a. Replace blue filter canister with clear canister
b. Removed winterizing tube (I winterize with air & the tube was pretty disgusting)
Okay, a little OCD!!!

EXCELLENT Mod! I'd been hooking my hose to the cold water bib for the washing machine, then passing the garden hose out the bedroom window and connecting it to the portable power washer. This mod makes more sense and eliminates the possibility of any puddles inside the M/H. Now the challenge will be to see if I can get this done in less than 8 hrs without having to enlist the aid of a plumber.

Anyone know where to get a large piece of that flat water-proof panel... enough to re-mount everything?

My first suggestion would be a hardware store knowing that there would be limited selection. If that doesn't work try a plastics specialty store like this:
