Outside microwave vent banging

For those of you that have the microwave vented to outside, have you come up with an ingenious way to keep the flapper from clanking will driving?

You might try putting a small strip of Velcro, just the "fluffy" part, along the bottom of the vent frame where the flapper hits. That won't stop the flap from moving but will stop the clanking sound.
