Painting vertical trim

The vertical trim which separates the rear and front caps from the MH sides has faded from a white to a light brown. It appears to be made from some type of hard plastic material. Can I paint this? What type of paint would be recommended? Thanks ..................

Try rubbing with a cloth with bleach may turn to white.
You can buy new strips at a RV dealer supply, buy enough so it will not creep in slot cut longer than trim.
Take a piece with you so you get correct type that locks in trim.

007,
This is not the thin plastic removable strips that locks inside inside a channel. This is some type of hard plastic (maybe fiberglass) that is a permanent fixture with caulking around it. Therefore I cannot simply replace. I may try your suggestion of using some bleach. Thanks ..............

Previous owner had the lower part of our motor home painted. They painted right over that piece with auto paint. Has held up real well.

The bleach did not work. I have some white auto paint. I might try painting a small section. Thanks ................
