Panasonic CQ-VA70 Tuner Location

We have a 2000 Newmar Mountain Aire with the Panasonic CQ-VA70 stereo/video system. Does anyone know where the TUNER unit is located in the coach? I want to attach additional components and didn't see it 'easily' behind the dash.

Thank you!!

Look behind the panels right at the top of the steps going in the coach. Were the step cover folds up......pull the padded panel out starting from the right side by the step cover, Hope this helps you out.

Palehorse, thanks for the info. The tuner was exactly where you said. FYI I installed an 'iSimple' Model IS76 unit that ties any Apple product into our stereos using RCA inputs, including video! I'm using it to connect my iPhone to the system so I can listen to my iPod music, Sirius (I have an unlimited data plan) and Pandora. This cleans up my dash and keeps things simple. Unit cost $50 but you can find online for less. Quick and easy install. PS: also charges the device you connect too!!
