Panasonic Dash Radio Replacement Wiring

I need to replace my malfunctioning original panasonic head unit in my 01 DS. Where can I find the wiring harness diagram showing which wire is which?

Lew,

I would get the model number, do a google search on it for the manual. Get the wiring from that, then label each one.

That said, you might be surprised that the wires to a new radio will be the same color match.

Good luck.

Contact Crutchfield or look on their website. Chances are they have the diagrams but will also probably have a wiring harness so that it would be just plug and play.

When I replaced the Panasonic dash stereo/CD/GPS in our 2004 MADP, the wire colors matched the new Pioneer unit I replaced it with.

When you pull the old radio out the wiring schematic should be glued to the unit.

I had great hopes that this would be the case Donn, but no. I did find that it is a Sony (as opposed to Panasonic) xr-c6120. No help at Sony site or google either. I guess it is just too old.
