I believe you have the Autopark Brake system.

I don't think I have that kind of park brake. I have a yellow knob on the dash that sets the park brake.

I'm thinking you coach is on a W-22 series Workhorse chassis. If so, please know that ALL of them have a foot-applied parking brake and NOT the AAPB used on the P32 series chassis.

Your PB is a manually-applied "brake drum" apperatus mounted on drive shaft, immediately behind the Allison tranny. It is possible that the cable from the pedal to the PB has failed, but it is more likely that the brake shoes have worn down (from being driven while applied) and need to be adjusted or replaced. Any medium duty truck shop should be able to determine the problem for you if you cannot find a WCC / Navistar ASC.

Thanks for the reply. Yes its a W-22 chassis. No I don't have a foot brake. I have a yellow Park Brake button on the dash.

Interesting... The 2005 Newmar Mountain Aire (gas) brochure (link here) lists the coach as having a W-24 chassis.
