Pex tubing size under sink in Ventana LE

Hi all,
I have a leak under kitchen sink in my 2017 Newmar Ventana LE 3709.
It is where the Pex tubing connects to a black connector that thens screws into another connector. Does anyone know the pep tube size in this location of the motorhome? I am having trouble trying to get a good measurement.

Thanks in advance.
CP

Just went out and looked at mine (2016). Itís all 1/2Ē as expected, but itís not the semi-rigid white stuff you get at home depot - itís somewhat opaque and more flexible. Hope this helps.

Yes, 1/2 inch in mine as well.

I am planning to buy some of this on my next trip to Lowe's - I assume this is similar.

Not an expert, so maybe a plumber can chime in on a better source/type.

Cool Shark Bite is my new best friend...

Definitely utilize the Shark bite line of products. Last week I had at the feed line to the toilet leaking from a failed Pex connection {I think there was some water left in that line last winter and one of our hard freezes probably cracked it}. I tried to sleeve over the pex with 5/8" reinforced PVC hose, it seemed to be a good, snug fit and I double hose clamped it. The next morning it was leaking worse than before...grrrr!

I found the Shark Bite connector at Ace Hardware and it just pushes on and no more leak. Know that once pushed on it takes a special SB tool to remove it. Good luck!

I ended up using a Flair-It fitting for PEX or Polybutylene Tubing. It was easy to put on and so far holding, (afternoon and overnight). The tubing that tied into a connector that was leaking is clear, not white like PEX. So it is either a clear PEX (if they make it) or the Polybutylene. Keeping my fingers crossed it works once we move the MH again. The picture is not good. The lower tubing and to the right was the leak. The white fitting is the Flair-It fitting. Notice the tubing is clear.

Thanks all.

That looks like a good alternative to $10 shark bite fittings and crimp type pex fittings where you canít get the crimping tool into the work area. Hadnít heard of this before: https://www.flairit.com/
