In case you didn't get the memo, for those that have the Pioneer AVIC systems in their rigs, Pioneer has released a map update disk set for $120. Model year 2008 TeleAtlas database on 2 DVD Discs featuring nearly 12 million POI, US and Canada coverage (including Alaska and Hawaii).

Hey Jeff, Great info. I've got the Z1, hard drive instead of DVD. Where did you get the info as I would like to check out if any Z! updates are available.

AVIC Z1/Z2 Update purchase is here.

Requires online activation. Data will be downloaded from DVD onto the hard disc drive (may take several hours).

Peter, I don't think they list liquor stores as points of interest so I'm not sure the update would be worth it for the mixologist in the group!

Hey Bob!!! Great to hear you jumping in. You are right, liquor stores are not on the POI lists. This was an oversight apparently. But that led to a great Amigos endorsed product. The new add-on DVD is included with any large bottle of Grey Goose (The Economy sized 55 gallon drum) with the picture of, you guessed it, The Amigos! Each DVD lists ever Fire Water store in the western world with a bonus of three countries in the eastern block. Act now! Supplies are limited.

I'm in Stuart for the week end.

You mean you're headed to Stuart from Knoxville?

The other post mentioned you were in Knoxville tonight.... Of course with the prototype "Amigo Transport Module" you may have beamed yourself there?

Yet another great reason to buy a Garmin. Liquor stores are well represented!
