Plug receptacles not working
The plug in my half bath by the sink has never really worked so I checked it using one of those GFCI testers and I got no lights indicating an "open hot." So I used one of those VoltAlerts to see if there really was power in there and yup, power...even in the ground. Next thing you know, NONE of my receptacles in the bedroom and master bathroom are working anymore. Nor do I have connectivity on my Sleep by Number Bed AND my Girard Awnings won't extend either. None of the GFCI switches in kitchen and bathroom were triggered, but I reset them anyway. I also checked the fuse on inverter. All good. As usual, Newmar CS is awesome. Been waiting for about a week for this mobile tech to come. Wednesday cannot come soon enough. Oh and the HDMI cord went bad on televator TV and basement light where power reel is located does not work. Sigh.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Renee

And they both have green lights and are working fine.

I would wonder if the outlet that "has never really worked" is either faulty or the connections to it are loose. That might create an intermittent fault that could appear to show power present but as soon as a load is present, it opens. And, it appears to me that your testing tripped another GFCI; possibly in the main panel or in a cargo bay, perhaps.
Unless you are well-versed in electrical trouble-shooting, I would suggest that you not try to deal with the half-bath receptacle itself. Leave that possibility to the technician.
My first effort would be to look for another tripped GFCI somewhere in the coach since you now have other receptacles that are not functioning.
Good luck.

I went out to mine and tested all of the outlets you mentioned are on the gfi in the cabinet over the sink. If that gfi is working then you most likely have a loose connection at the wall plug then from there the wires would go to the bedroom and rear bath.. looks like Wednesday.

Oh aaaargh, I didn't ask the DirectTV guy. He plugged the box directly to my TV and it works that way so he just said the HDMI cable was bad. Do you think I need to replace both?

I suspect that the HDMI cable is unplugged under the kitchen sink (in the far back against the outside wall. Fairly common or the power to the HDMI splitter, same location

Thanks TJ for good advice. I'm definitely not well versed in electrical anything. Two little gadgets and look at the mess I've made. Wednesday is almost here. [emoji854]

Hahah. Yeppers! Leave it to the big guys. Thanks for checking Stuart. Do you think it has anything to do with the basement light as well....even though it's on the other side?
