Power awnings

I have a 2016 DS 4369. Two questions:
1. Can I operate power awnings individually using Girard remote?

2. My back power awning does not extend as far as the front one, is it adjustable?

Yes and yes. The remote has a channel switch - one for each awning. You can adjust the limit switches for extension and retraction. I've attached the Girard manual.

File is too large, and the site won't let me upload. you can find it at Girard's website.

You got the answer on opening them individually. I installed the remote mount just inside the door, near the fire extinguisher, so I can easily grab the remote and operate the awnings while outside.

How much of a difference is there between the two when extended. They're identical awnings, so there shouldn't be more than an inch or two difference. Or....are you talking about one sitting higher than the other, a very common issue.

Somewhere in the stuff that came with the coach, you should have a black plastic/nylon tool the size of a wood pencil that has an allen wrench tip. That's the adjuster for sensitivity. You might be able to adjust the sensitivity a little to push the one awning out farther.

In the middle of the coach where the two awnings meet, end of front awning, beginning of the rear awning, are two adjusters on the end of each awning, that can be seen when the awnings are extended about two feet. These are the sensitivity sensors and are adjusted with that allen wrench tool. The two items circled in red in the photo.

The adjuster closest to the side of the motor home is in the IN limit adjuster and helps adjust the awning so the awning box closes tight. The outer adjuster is for the OUT limits.

The only caution, make small adjustments. Once the adjustments are done and the awning is either fully closed or fully open, make sure you can't hear the awning motor still running. This means that you over adjusted. The motor will eventually overheat and a relay will trip. When the relay resets the awning can open on it's own as the motor starts back up.
