Power Baggage Door Locks

Not all of the cargo baggage door locks lock when door lock button is pushed. They must be locked with key. Is there a quick fix for this challenge?

Had a similar issue on my 2011 MA and talked to Newmar. The "old" style assembly tends to have grounding issues and they now have a replacement design available. I had mine changed out and it works fine but.... suddenly three doors on that side decided to work intermitantly.

They would not lock and seemed to randomly cycle to unlocked on their own. It seems to stop when I have the gen running. Not sure if it was/is a low voltage situation, dirty contacts/relay or lack of usage due to my wife being ill for an extended period.

If you do replace it, just double check the other doors to insure that they cycle properly.

I had a problem with the cargo locks. There was a loose wire on one of the doors that came out of the wire connector. One door didn't work all the time. The other doors on that side didn't work some of the time. The loose wire was in the one that didn't work all the time. Also check ground wires.

In my 2015DSDP all the actuator switches that control locking and unlocking had to be replaced.
It was part of a warranty recall
Check with Newmar maybe it's a recall item
