Hi! Flying home from Vegas I had a chance to read Destinations (Country Coach Quarterly Magazine. Don't ask what I am up to ) it is a great magazine. Newmar needs to look at it. Anyway there was an ad from a tire company in there selling pressure assist boosters. It will double your air output above 80 PSI so you can inflate your tires without carrying a compressor. Forgetting about price for now, has anyone had experience with these?? I am including the link for anyone to look at. http://www.dickmantires.com/ Comments would be appreciated. Paul

Sounds interesting Paul. Not alot of tech info though. For near $500 I would like to know a bit more.

I wondered if this was possible so I found the following which provides more tech detail.

smc regulator booster

Apparently uses a bidirectional piston to increase the pressure. Looks like this part alone is about $250.

I have used SMC air cylinders for years with good results. While I haven't seen this particular part before, I would expect it to give good service for the duration of your next 5 coaches, being an industrial product intended for 100% duty cycle. I'm just disappointed that I didn't think of it.
