I had a piece of black cardboard 1/8" thick from staples ($6) I cut and velcro'd to the window that worked very well.
I forgot to say you push in and turn.

I'm sure there are others who would like to know but are afraid to ask. What are people doing in their RV's that require sealing it up like a Christmas gift?
Maybe I'd like to be part of this.

Shade gaps

Put shades fully down, attach Velcro to shade and side wall. It won’t affect the shade up and down when scrolls. Easy cheap fix.

I had the same problem in my Ventana 4037. I just returned from the Newmar Nappanee facility where they moved the entire wooden assembly, to which the shade is attached, toward the interior of the coach. This resolved the gap.

I own a 4369 Ventana and the privacy curtains have a metal rod running thru the bottom edge. I mounted a magnet to each side and it pulled them closer to the window. While it did not close the gaps 100%, it's a lot better.

If the cloths pins don't work try a couple of pool noodles and maybe some small pieces of loop and hook tape

In the Ventana, the night shades leave a 3/4" to 1" or so gap where if you are in front of the coach, you can see inside. I've been hanging some blackout curtains with suction cups in the evening, but that's a pain in the butt.

Has anyone come up with a clever solution, or just deal with it.

I know someone previously posted a picture of what they did in a Dutch Star or other, where they got wood from Newmar to block the area, but on the Ventana 4369, that solution doesn't work due to where the thermostat is.
If you’re not running around naked inside your coach what’s the big deal? If you are, cover up.... you’re in a campground. If not, chill and enjoy. Better yet get outside and enjoy nature. Come in at bedtime, shower and call it a day in your bedroom.

Trust me.... no camper is interested in looking in your window.

Side Trim for Window Shades

Here is a link to a page showing some pictures of the ones that are used in our Grand Design Imagine. If you can fabricate ones similar to these, or know someone who could make them, they would work. There are many materials for a base structure and fabrics to cover them that could be used to create them. I have created several things for our Imagine.

Wouldn’t a person need to be 7 or 8ft tall to really look in? But it appears those close pins do a good job closing the gap.
