Pro Fill auto watering system

Took Dutch Star Don's advice and ordered a Pro Fill auto watering system from Amazon and installed it today. Took about 30 min. to install. I have four lead acid house batts which were a pain to check monthly. After install took just a couple minutes to water all 12 cells. Total cost was about $110.00 which includes tubing, 12 vent caps and squeeze pump.

Good deal. I had that system for five years and it worked great. Last year I upgraded to AGM's.

I installed it on our six batteries. Easy install, and works just as advertised.
One of the best upgrades we have done to our coach.

Trojan Batteries has one especially for their batteries. It works well. It seems that some batteries have changed the height of the fill chamber so care should be used in the particular unit you buy. They really do a good job.

In addition, Boeshield T9 applied to the battery terminals will keep them corrosion free forever. Boeing created the stuff to protect their aircraft instruments. You can find it on line or at West Marine.

Good Luck!

Pro Fill a great system. Takes 1 miniute or less to pull maintenance now. Best time saver upgrade I've done so far.

I saw this thread and was going to reply about my less than stellar experience with the Pro-Fill system, but realized it might be of interest to more than just Newmar owners, so I started a new thread in a more general sub-forum.
