Problems during dewinterizing 4018
First, when I tried to turn on front TV with the remote nothing happened even tho the Directv receiver lighted up. So I raised the televator and when I tried to turn it on with remote it lighted up on a channel and so did the front TV. Turned both TVs off and tried again on the front TV, everything worked as it should this time - what could have happened the
first time that nothing worked on the front TV? The TV in the bedroom worked perfect all this time.
Second, when I aired up the bags for the first time in couple of months the front bags went down overnight, but it took several days before the rear bags leaked down. Is the front and rear on separate lines letting one end to leak separately from the other end? If so, where should I be looking for a bad leak on the front bags?
And now the bedroom smoke detector keeps beeping even tho I put 2 different new batterys in it and it still beeps. Can this mean the detector is defective and will have to be replaced? I'd hate to have to do that reaching over my head all that time, but gotta have a good working smoke detector.
Had to replace the propane detector last year but that wasn't too bad since it's located behind the passenger's chair.

TV - replace batteries if you haven't done so.
Detector - may need new one, especially if two new batteries haven't remedied the issue.

The detectors can be VERY deceiving, the front could be beeping and sound like it's coming from the rear. I would remove both and install new batteries one at a time and make sure there is no beeping.

Before tearing into anything get two fresh Duracell batteries and try them. Had the same problem, safe lock tech suggested doing this, problem solved. Seems Duracell has a slightly higher voltage than many other brands.

Hello Don,
I did exactly that when I first started hearing the beeping, but standing directly under each one I could tell they both needed new batteries. Excellent suggestion. Now with new batteries in both the one in the bedroom is still beeping.
May try the above suggestion with a different brand battery before removing detector.

In my coach the front is a smoke detector and the bedroom is a Carbon Monoxide detector. They look the same but they are not.

Smoke and CO detectors have a limited life. Newer models begin beeping when life time is expended. Older models just stop working and people didn't know.
