Hope it is ok to recommend a product line that I have used with great success to enhance my new Newmar's paint finish & appearance. I have actually used it for years on my previous coach and all my cars. YET I was concerned how it would work on Newmar's clear coat since it is very sensitive (cannot use any kind of brush to wash it, Newmar recommends baby shampoo and real wool mitt, etc) Well, I did purchase the wool mitt and used baby shampoo while on the road - we just returned from our maiden 90 day trip following purchase. I also bought a de-ionizer and used it.
Upon our recent return, I tried my steadfast Meguiar's
ULTIMATE line of products on my coach. Since my coach had water spots on it from being washed at the dealer, I first tried Meguiar's
ULTIMATE compound on small area on the lower rear bumper to see if it was "safe" to use on Newmar's clear-coat AND IT WORKED FLAWLESSLY - it removed the water spots and made the finish silky smooth, clean and oh so brilliant.
In Meguiar's
ULTIMATE line, they offer a concentrated traditional wash, liquid & paste wax, compound, quick detailer, and waterless wash and wax. Since I prefer to do things myself, I went online to see if Meguiar's offers these products in bulk (gallon) sizes, but they do not. However and this is what I also want to share, I found on Pepboys.com they are having a 30% off sale on Meguiar's products with free shipping. If you like to wash and wax yourself, I cannot imagine anyone not being thoroughly impressed with the results of these products and their ease of application and removal. I have not yet used the waterless wash and wax, but did use the
ULTIMATE quick detailer while on the road. I simply sprayed it on liberally and used microfiber cloths to wipe the surface clean. I purchased three 15-packs of microfiber clothes from Walmart to have plenty on hand for safe use ***One tip is to wipe only in a downward vertical motion and change the cloth surface each "wipe"*** This is a great way to keep your coach clean while on the road when a real wash is prohibited in your rv park. I just ordered 18 of the ULTIMATE waterless wash and wax, 8 regular washes, and several other items totalling just over five hundred bucks. The current offer on Pepboys.com cannot be beat, even by Walmart. I intend to use the waterless wash and wax while on the road in lieu of the quick detailer from this point forward as it got great reviews online. Here are links to the products...
