Propane Tank

My propane tank is darn near full and I have a reading of empty on the gauge above the driver’s seat. Any ideas ?

Bad connection to the tank sending unit; or the sending unit itself .

EDIT: A second thought ; did you just have the tank filled ; from empty ?

Does the gauge on the tank read full ?
If you just had the tank filled from empty ; then the internal float could be hung up and the gauge on the tank will show empty , until the float is jarred loose while driving. Then the reading at the tank and on the monitor will correct themselves .

Your RV has a tank sensor on the side of the propane tank. It has probably failed. Also, your tank should have a manual gauge on the side of the tank so you can verify your propane levels. Here's a link to the type of sensor you may have-
