Protecting this thing from the elements.

I know every one has their own preffered cleaning/protecting/waxing routine, but I'm looking for thoughts on my thinking.

After a good wash and dry, should i:
1. Use 303 Aerospace Protectant on the roof (rubber, not fiberglass), and then NuFinish everything else? (This is what I think is the best option)
Or
2. 303 Aerospace Protectant on everything (top and all fiberglass sides) and skip the NuFinish.
Or
3. Use Aerospace Protectant on everything (top and sides) and then follow up with NuFinish on the fiberglass sides for extra protection.

I have been waxing with a polisher/buffer until now and am frankly getting tired. Need another option.

Thanks in advance.

Hi stevemanz,
Year and brand of Newmar you own would be helpful.

Not having that information, consider:
Griot's Garage products at https://www.griotsgarage.com/ for painted surfaces. Speed Shine is an excellent product. Two times a year is all you need.
For the roof a good cleaning 2 times a year followed with 303 is all that is needed. Me thinks you have a Brite Tec roof. Not sure without you posting the year and brand.

I have a fiberglass roof and use 303 on it a couple times a year. But like Gary said, it is hard to know what roof/finish you are describing without model/year listed for your coach.

I always used NuFinish and a buffer until I paid a mobile detail guy last year in Florida to do my coach. He used McGuires Carnauba wax applied with a slow buffer then wiped off with a micro fiber towel. Now I can do my whole coach in about 7 hours, instead of the two 8 hour days it took me with NuFinish.

Every month or two I treat my a/c covers, skylights, and anything else plastic on the roof with 303.

Hi stevemanz,
You have a BriteTEC rook. Not rubber. BriteTEC is an excellent roof. My coach is an 05 and been outside since it was born. What I mentioned in a previous post is what I do.
