Pulling out Samsung french door reefer

All indications say I've got a bad water inlet valve and need to pull reefer out to check/replace. I can't be the first with this issue Is the water line simply coiled up behind it like a home install would be?

Can you still open up the original vented access panel on the outside of the coach?

I haven't had mine out but PO did it so its possible.
He said he built a platform the right height so it slid out easily.
I would pull on the tubing from under the sink to get an idea how much slack there is. Worst case disconnect under sink and pull it out w the fridge. Install a longer piece and feed it back before pushing it back.

It's a residential unit thus no access panel.

If it is a 197 or the RF18 model, there is an access panel. Not very big but there is one.

Check out this RV Geeks video... It’s a little more involved that what you need to do but shows you how to slide out the fridge...

See the attached photos. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this is what the back of my Whirlpool french door refrigerator looks like in my 2016 DSDP. Yours is probably similar. I was able to pull the refrigerator out of the recess without any problems. I had plenty of slack on the water line.

Thanks Kevin for the video. My brain must have shorted out,,, again,,,. It's a Whirlpool reefer not a Samsung.

Also my front tv is dead and one of the Oasis pumps is out. Don't care about the tv right now and I have a replacement pump that will be changed out when we get back to Fl. in a couple of weeks.

Is it possible someone accidentally turned off the supply line to the refrigerator? The shut off valve is right next to the front spigot shutoff on our DSDP which has a driver side fridg. And sorry for this point but you are sure the circuit breaker is on for the fridg plus the water works elsewhere (could be in the fill mode).

Hey Racer - I was ready to pull the refrig out to replace the valve but learned that in our unit the valve can actually be accessed from the inside of the refrigerator. Was easy peasey. I was glad I checked model numbers first.

Big Bus, that's the company I ordered my water valve from. I viewed their video specific to my model and it, also well done, showed lower rear panel R&R. I sure will check before pulling it out though. Thanks.

I had the water valve on my whirlpool refrigerator replaced a few years ago as it made lots of noise when the ice maker cycled. The refrigerator had to be pulled out to replace it. I have also had to pull out the refrigerator myself. I put a piece of plywood on the floor in front of the unit and pulled it out after loosening floor bolts and the wood trim above it. It wasn’t very difficult.

When asked about the inline shutoff valve in the basement, you stated that the refrigerator was on. I assume you meant to say that the refrigerator water line shutoff valve was open to allow water to flow to the refrigerator. Figured I would ask the question to verify everyone is on the same page.
