That’s exactly what happened! Newmar left it off coming out of production. I have pictures of the coach waiting in delivery at the Nappanee lot and it’s not installed.
Always something isn’t it. I will call Newmar and get NIRVC to install.

I sent an email to Rick Drinkwine, Newmar’s London Aire Liaison with a couple of pictures showing the coach prior to delivery (without the exhaust pipe).
Rick got back to me the next day and is shipping a complete generator exhaust system to the house and will arrange a mobile tech to install. I was impressed with that. If easy I may just
handle.
I asked his thoughts on how a coach could come out of production without it and he felt it was more likely it fell off in the yard while shuttling around and no-one ever caught it.

I was happy I had pictures prior to delivery showing it was missing. I think it could have been an issue proving I didn’t hit something and knock it off.
Unfortunately will not have replacement by Quartzite, so no genturi set up here . If your parked by us, fair warning you all may want to move. Hope to see some of you in the desert!

We have used on both our current LA and our previous Essex the gen exhaust extension with the exhaust tip and without. It is easier without the extension on. If you can get the exhaust kit I am sure we can get it connected to LA.

I know there are quite hours for running your generator at night but what about your Oasis?
Are you able to leave the Oasis on to heat the coach during the night?

I have never seen anyone suggest that a heater be shutoff at night, when it is necessary to do its job.


I have heard TT complain about Aqua hots or Oasis, while running their Propane burners...but that is just education on what fuel source is used for heat.




Some will add a genturi to the oasis, but this really is not necessary. The amount of time that it runs is so minimal that the genturi won't have enough time to make much difference.

We needed an extension for our Gen-Turi as well. Down to Home Depot for an appropriate length of white PVC (ours was 12”) and for me a 90 degree on top of that to redirect the ‘spittles’ of soot from spotting our white roof. The exhaust doesn’t get hot enough from our Cummins Onan 5500 to be an issue for us.
