With Newmar's NEWGLE sight currently down for maintenance, I thought I'd reach out to fellow MA/LA/EX or KA owners to ask for the manufacturer name, make and model of the exterior rear view mirrors Newmar installs on its late model coaches 45DP' coaches.

I found that I'm missing both of the small chromed-plastic snap-in covers on the bottom side of the mirror mounts and want to replace them. I further suspect Newmar's PD will not stock them and I'll need to get them from the actual mirror manufacturer.

You might be able to find small snap in fillers at Lowes, Home Depot, or local hardware store.

Newmar used to use Ramco and I suspect they still do. https://www.ramco-eng.com/

BTW: I needed to replace my passenger side mirror, Newmar wanted $1,850 and they would need to order it from Ramco. I got it directly from Ramco for under $800.

I looked in our case of information and couldn't find any model numbers but ours is also a Ramco brand set of mirrors. If it is simply a chrome button plug lostinfla is correct. You can get one at either a home improvement store. You can also check with your local NAPA or other auto parts store as they would sell them also. Just measure the I.D. of the hole as that will be needed to get the right one.

Rick, I still use Com-Net and heres what it shows for you Essex. Ramco should be able to identify by these part numbers.

I spoke with Newmar CS and they are sending me a pair of the Ramco access port plug caps. Thanks for the effort. (and no, still no joy from FCA on the GC issue).
