Question about facilities at the mothership

Does anyone know if bldg 42 customer service lounge has showers or just laundry facilities?

I don't remember seeing any when I was up there. The bathrooms are just that. Are you getting multi-day service? Usually they bring the coach back out to the camp ground for you to stay in it. They can fill you fresh tank when inside the service center if you need water and it's still turned off outside.

No showers, just bathrooms, lounge area and laundry.

Thanks for the info. We're scheduled for a 7 workday body and paint repair on our MA beginning monday and I've arranged for them to keep it in Bldg 42 rather than return it to the CG each day. As such, we're bringing our small class B+ rig to stay in during the repair. I got approval to use my designated site in the campground for our class B+.

Problem is that the small rig only contains about 2 days of fresh water. I don't know if the spigots on the side of bldg 42 are on, or where we can refill our water tank every 2 days.

In case you're curious about the body and paint repair.... got sideswiped on the interstate by a truck, and a hit and run. Got his tag number, called the State Troopers who caught him 7 miles down the road. He denied it, but my dash cam showed the entire collision...totally his fault.

He was charged with reckless driving, hit-and-run, and leaving the scene. Fortunately for us, he had insurance who paid without a quibble due to the dash cam...$16,000 damage. The dashcam saved us from having to file a claim on our insurance.

Aw yes, Another testimony why we all should have dash cams! I have an expression that I have shared with dozens of RVers that goes: "Dash Cams! Don't leave home without it!" Maybe we should suggest to Newmar that they install them as original equipment.

Ask your MA rep if the water is on at the side of bldg or ask Sue (front desk) when you're there.

Can you share some info about your dash cam. Make model etc.

My dash cam is a "Wheel Witness", about $100 if I remember corrrectly. I've tried cheaper units over the years and most are not user friendly to retrieve saved video files. The DW blasted me for buying it because of the price but now she is a believer.

PS - I called Sue and the outside (2) spigots are on in the front of bldg 42....problem solved.

Facilities at mothership

$100 probably seems pretty cheap now. Should have splurged and got the $200 Garmin 65.
