Question about replacing back up camera monitor

I need to replace the back up monitor on my 2002 dutch star. The camera works but the 5" ADTH monitor is failing. ADTH is out of business. Has anyone replaced the monitor only and w/ what product. There are plenty of flat screen monitors and complete camera systems out there. My concern is using the existing cable connections to a newer flat screen.

This is what I used. It is essentially "plug and play" but you will need to figure out how to make a bracket to hold it "over" the old CRT hole.

I would also recommend RV Cams as the place to do business with. Call them and they will take the time to discuss all your needs. They usually will have a kit to make your existing cameras work with your new monitor (plug and play). I did this a couple of years ago myself and the the hardest part was modifying the hole that the old monitor was mounted in- but it wasn't too hard. My old monitor was a CRT and also was no longer in production so I had to go with a newer LCD...it's designed as a color monitor but works fine with my B & W cameras. Good luck and be sure to call them.

I bought a 7" color screen off Amazon for about $50 to use on our 2004 MADP. I just plugged in the old RCA plug (carried backup camera and Trip-Tec video) that used to be plugged into the original dash mounted stereo for its flip-up screen. Works fine.

I echo the recommendation to call rvcams.com. I had the same monitor as yours and they have an inexpensive color replacement that works great with your existing wiring.
