Hi, pardon my intrusion on your forum. I have a performance question for Mtn.air owners.
Do you feel your 43' MA has enough power with 400hp and 1200 lbs of torque?

We are shopping for a new coach and drove and like the MA but as you all know the test drives are not real world.

While I hve your attention, could you list a few of your pors and cons plz?

Thanks so much for the help, Larry

I have a 2005 4304.I pull a 16' enclosed trailer that weighs approximently 5000 pounds when loaded. The coach has plenty of power.
In comparison, I pulled the same trailer with a 2002 Journey (36') with a 330 cat. The acceleration with the MADP is comparable, despite the much greater coach weight. The "lug" power is better in the MADP.
I see that you are a Winnie owner, as was I. Thinking about a brand change, huh?

We have owned our 4301 for 18 months and have traveled 32k miles from coast to coast and through Mexico and I can uneqivocally state the 400 Cummins is a wonderfulengine and a perfect fit for the 43' coach.

We have a 2004 MADP 4301 with the ISL 400 Cummins engine and are happy with its performance - we tow a Jeep Grand Cherokee and you don't even know it's behind you.

Thanks for the input on the MA performance. I have changed coaches and have not dropped my Winny forum asso.
Only checking out the MA but liked what we saw, lot of 'bang for the buck' but not to happy to hear of the corp. changes at Newmar and really not happy about the loss of the 3 yr. warrenty.

Thanks again, larry
