Have a 08 KSDP. Want to pull a coolant sample for testing. Having a difficult time getting the cap off. Is their a secret method or just a matter of sufficient strength. A tech in the past told me their all difficult but this seems more than difficult.Could be I'm just getting older!

I use a piece of rubberized jar cap removal material or a small strap wrench. The main thing is to push down so locking tabs can clear the filler neck.
Push down turn counterclockwise. If it has never been removed you may have to use a large slip pliers to turn while pushing down with the other hand. Happened to me. Jim

You are correct. Brute strength and a strong grip is needed. If the coolant has never been changed, it may be time.
